Femke Kok is a Dutch long track speed skater who specializes particularly in the sprint distances, 500 and 1000 meters. When Femke was 3 years old she first got acquainted with 'skating' on natural ice. She loved it. Femke was not to be stopped from skating. From that day on, her love for skating was born. Now, 17 years later, she still enjoys going to training every day and she has her first individual World Championships senior medal in her pocket. Something Femke dreamed of as a little girl when she made her first meters on natural ice.
