Eveline first came into contact with surfing at the age of seven. Since then, she has been unable to get off the board. Eveline is away from home for an average of ten months a year. From England to Hawaii, preferably in places where the waves are the highest. Our hero can compete with the best surfers in the world.
A quote who you are or what you stand for
Eveline believes that you should always try to get the most out of it. So always give 100%.
Highlight career
Finishing 13th at the World Championships. With that she was only one spot away from direct qualification for the first Olympic Games. Also winning the World Surf League Pro Junior in France was a highlight for Eveline. But Eveline's career does not consist only of highlights.... Our hero tore off her anterior cruciate ligament completely last year (from which she is still recovering). Eveline has learned so much in that period on both mental and physical level.
Pre-race habit
Eveline always surfs before the race to get the 'feeling' and she also likes to listen to music.
Dream Career
Eveline wants to get everything out of her career. She dreams of a long and beautiful career with lots of fun and preferably as few injuries as possible. It would also be great to qualify for the Olympics. Besides that Eveline hopes to see a lot of beautiful places.
Hobbies
Our hero loves going to the beach, hiking with friends or other sports such as tennis, snowboarding and boxing.
Guilty pleasure
Fruit! Especially strawberry, mango and blueberries.
